napoleon's downfall

These desires…

Comes from cares I cannot forget

Oh these woes of mine

Disciples dressed in blue

My heart worries for you

But the cause

Or this song without a pause

Honored guests I salute

Strike the harp

Play the flute

Never ceasing never dark

These birds…

Cannot settle, cannot subside

Flying with no rest

Where shall they nest?

The ocean too deep,

The mountain too steep

So at their feet

The empire does fall.

trying to piece this together,

i have two interpretations. however, both are probably wrong.

one is that the empire is a relationship and the continual force of love drags on and takes a toll?
the second is that its related your own perspective of hard work, parenting, and your future. desires that you want? for your future? cares you can't forget...care for your parents and pleasing them?
never ceasing...working on and on? until. you. fall...?

please help me. :)

hahaa. well i guess it's about a leader's own selfish ambitions and how he sacrifices innocent people to his own cause. he knows that what he's doing is selfish and wrong, but he cannot give up his dream. but in the end, he fails
